Good morning, I want to thank you all again for your support of Joshua House as your sponsored me for this past weekend's Pittsburgh Marathon races. I was able to raise over $2000 for JHouse through your help.

The weekend started off as my 12 year old son, AJ, and I ran the 5K on Saturday morning. He did tremendous and beat his best time by 2 mins and 23 seconds for a time of 21:12. He was so pumped. Following that, we volunteered at the Kid's 1 Mile race and then went to the expo to get our race packets for Sunday. AJ LOVES the expos because of all of the free stuff the vendors give away. We were able to rest up during the afternoon and then went out to eat with some of the Joshua House Team in Market Square.

For Race Day, Jess and I were running the half marathon and AJ was running the last leg of the Marathon Relay. Jess was dealing with a nagging injury coming into the race so it didn't turn out well for her as she decided to pull out around mile 9. AJ did tremendous and I was able to run the .75 mile of his 4.2 mile leg.
For me, I did really well but didn't hit my goal for the race. I think AJ's fast 5K pace tired my legs out a little and caused for heavy legs during the uphill climbs of mile 10-12. But I am ecstatic with my overall performance finishing with a 1:33:47 and finished 14th out of 630 in my age group and 216th out of over 14,000 runners. I'll take that.

Now that the Pittsburgh Marathon weekend is over, we are focusing our attention onto all of the great summer plans for Joshua House. Summer Camps will host over 100 youth, a missions trip/youth conference to Baltimore the week of July 4th and our largest event - HoopsFest on July 23rd where we will plan for 300 teams, 1200 players and 5000+ people in attendance. We will also be working on renovations and re-purposing the Armory in Tyrone. Again, your support is so greatly appreciated! We are excited about all that the Lord is doing and continues to do here at Joshua House and that we get to play a part in it.

Thanks so much,

I want to thank you for your support in my race next weekend. I'm honored that you would share some of your hard earned income with Joshua House. We are truly in an amazing time in the ministry of Joshua House.

My journey in this ministry started 18+ years ago as I moved back to Tyrone due to an overwhelming call by God to impact today's youth. Here was my heart back in 1998, "Joshua House is a place where people can find their destiny in Jesus Christ through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Knowing that the presence of God changes lives, we seek to be a catalyst in bringing this generation into God’s life-changing presence."

And now, in 2016 we step into a new era in the ministry of Joshua House as we purchased the Tyrone Armory (http://www.joshuahouse.com/armory-vision-plans/) April 1st. We are renovating and re-purposing this amazing facility to minister to and impact today's youth and our community at large.

Please follow us on facebook or call/text or email me to keep updated. We are excited about what God has in store and we are preparing for another move of God.

God Bless and Thank you!
