I am running and raising funds in honor of my Uncle Tim. He was given a great blessing when he was 9 years old. He was blessed to move on to heaven and suffer no more. He did not give up or lose his battle with leukemia, he was one of the lucky ones who got to move on! My Uncle Tim has been by my side for many years in spirit! Because of him I push harder, love deeper, and live life to its fullest! I put fear to the side and live!! Hard days become easier knowing how hard he fought. I never met my Uncle Tim but I know we are connected beyond blood. He is my guardian angel. I am running The New York Marathon in November and I'm dedicating my journey and my run to him. In doing that, I am partnering with the Jonathan Powell Hope Foundation to raise funds for this awesome local charity that helps local families with costs associated with childhood cancer. I want to share stories about my Uncle, the good and the bad. I also want to spread the stories of others. I look forward to this journey!
