EVENT: Refuse To Abuse 5k 2013
EVENT DATE: Jul 20, 2013
Have you ever wondered how it might feel to access all the levels of Safeco Field? run through the tunnels beneath the ballpark? stroll through the bullpen on the field level? and all this without being chased down by security?
On July 20, you can!
Safeco Field will be opening its gates on July 20 for the second annual Refuse to Abuse 5k Run/Walk, benefitting the WA State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) campaign against domestic violence.
Please join the Jones Lang LaSalle Health Champions and the T-Mobile Account Corporate Social Responsibility Team at Safeco Field in their first event of 2013!
As a Refuse to Abuse participant, you will have the rare opportunity to see parts of Safeco Field usually inaccessible to the public. Runners pass through every level of the ballpark and finish with a lap on the warning track around the field to cross the line. All runners receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate their support of this worthy cause.
This year, our JLL Health Champions will be paying for a limited number of registration fees for employees and a “plus 1.” Hurry—we only have 10 of our 30 free spots left! Please note that, while not required, we do encourage you to make a matching donation to support the WSCADV’s endeavors to promote its core cause through educational and advocacy programs.
The walk/run provides a great opportunity to have fun with coworkers and meet people across different JLL accounts while supporting a great cause!
If you are interested in one of the 20 free spots on our team, you must contact Tammy Scott to register on your behalf as JLL Health Champions is unable to provide reimbursements to out of pocket registration fees at this time.
