What I had hoped to be a mem…
What I had hoped to be a memorable Marathon actually turned out to be one of the most memorable days of my life. This run was all about Jed and I can't begin to describe all the emotion of the day. I was blessed to run it with my twin brother Jamie who was also running it for Jed. We came across both family and friends cheering us on along the course. It all culminated just past mile 25 in to the race, when we saw our families once again. Standing there in the middle was Jed and there was not a dry eye as we stopped to greet them. Despite our tired legs, that last mile or so was like running on air.

Jamie and I finished together and it was certainly an experience of a lifetime. I want to thank all of you once again for your donations. We continue to pray that Jed will get this disease under control. Running a marathon is nothing compared to what Jed goes through on a daily basis. Your donations will go a long way in the research and programs at Mt. Sinai for children with IBD.

I also want to say I love you and thank you to Stacy, Max, Ethan, and especially Jed for helping to raise money and for their support of me during my marathon training.

While I thought this might be my last one, I'm starting to think about NYC Marathon 2016!

All, As we are just a few d…
All,

As we are just a few days away from the Marathon, I wanted to thank you again for your generous donations and even more importantly, your emotional support over the last year.

The $10,342 that you have donated far exceeded our expectations and we are eternally grateful.

Jed still continues to experience ups and downs due to his illness. He was able to attend classes at the beginning of the school year, but is now being tutored at home again. We're hoping that his latest treatment starts to kick in and get him back to school and back to the activities that he enjoys so much.

On Sunday, I'll be running with my brother Jamie (who also raised over $3,300) as well as other members of the IBDkids team. If you want to track me, my bib # is 14175. I'll send out an update next week as well to let you know how I did. Regardless of my finishing time, I consider this race to be a success based on your donations and support.

Thanks again.
