Fighting for Help
Organized by: Jonathan Smith
In early 2014, I was injured in Afghanistan and had to rotate back to the US for treatment. DBA insurance is taking care of the injured portions that relate to work but there are other issues that are being denied and without having insurance or an income, I am almost out of options. Workman's Comp for contractors is called DBA and the adjuster is trying to deny certain issues associated. Of course they always do and it takes forever to get them to do the right thing. Case after case after case is available to read where soldiers and contractors with legitimate issues are forced to wait years for help. They force you to wait until you have to file bankruptcy and are out of options so that you are willing to accept a smaller deal that provides quick partial relief. They don't care about the people whose live are ruined along the way.
ObamaCare ...... wow, that was a joke. Apparently I can get it if I use a 7500 dollar deductible, pay 1200 a month, and don't mind waiting 6 months for coverage to kick in.. This country literally punishes you for being motivated and successful.
I served my country with honor for 8 years and saved lives and now I could use a little help.
