Josh Davis was born in Knoxville, TN and grew up in the small Appalachian mountain town of Damascus, VA. These two geographic factors contributed to a lifelong commitment as a UT Vols fan, a lover of the outdoors, and an advocate for the poor. After a failed attempt at college, Josh took several years to satisfy his independent and adventurous spirit by travelling the country living in his car while ministering to homeless and other drifters he met along the way. He ended his journey in Petersburg, Alaska working at a fish cannery. After returning to Tennessee, Josh completed his college education at MTSU, gained experience from a six-year retail management career, and then transitioned to the IT and software industry, which led him to his current position as Marketing Director at PA Group USA. Josh, his wife Laura, and their daughters Abby and Eliana now live in the Jefferson Heights neighborhood in the Southside, where they enjoy being a part of the rich culture of downtown Chattanooga. He currently serves as a board member for Men's Ministry Network, the immediate past president of YPAC, a board member for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, a volunteer with the Chattanooga-Lafayette Emmaus Community, and is active helping local nonprofits with their websites and marketing.
