BENEFITING: HOCKEY IN NEWARK
EVENT DATE: Jun 08, 2013
The Esformes family, in conjunction with Hockey In Newark, are proud to announce that we will be holding the 3rd Annual Josh Esformes Charity Hockey Game at the AmeriHealth Pavilion (New Jersey Devils practice arena connected to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ) at 2:30pm on June 08, 2013.
For those of you know don't know, Josh Esformes was an alumni of St. Peter's Prep, class of 2005, and Rutgers University Alumni, class of 2009. He not only was a star player on both his high school and college team, where he was captain his senior year, but he also excelled, both inside and outside of the classroom. Josh was coaching a travel team, ProTech Ducks, and was the perfect role model for young hockey players to look up to. To keep his memory and his caring attitude towards life going, the Esformes family have teamed up with Hockey In Newark to establish a scholarship fund in Josh's name. Each year we hold a charity game, with ex-teammates coming from all the organizations Josh played for growing up and all the lives he touched in the process. All proceeds from this charity games go towards a young Hockey In Newark player who excels on and off the ice.
And please pass around this crowdrise page so your friends and family can donate as well and help us reach and surpass our goal!
Thank you all for your time and support and I can't wait to see you all there on June 8th, 2013.
