BENEFITING: Catch A Lift Fund
As some of you may know over the last 9 months I have lost over 170 lbs after weight loss surgery. You may not know that I have started and enjoy jogging. So I thought it would be fun to join a Disney race. So I am raising money for the Catch a Lift fund. The Catch A Lift Fund(CAL) helps post 9/11 combat wounded veterans all over the U.S. recover, rehabilitate and reintegrate through physical fitness by providing them with gym memberships, in home gym equipment, personalized fitness programs and a peer to peer support network. A veterans family is equally important for healing, therefore a veterans appointed certified VA caregiver is eligible for the program as well. CAL was founded in memory of Army Cpl. Chris Coffland,(KIA-Afghanistan-2009) and is rooted in his belief that through fitness, one can reach their highest potential both mentally and physically. With over 3,000 wounded veterans and caregivers in CAL's program and over 500 on our wait list, America's support is more important than ever. 90% of every donation made to CAL goes directly to funding the veteran's fitness and wellness programs all over the country. My commitment is $400. I am so thankful and appreciative of each donation and love that our donations will be helping wounded warriors towards a successful recovery . All donations must be in by September 1st, 2017. If I raise this amount, I will be able to participate in the Disney 10kRun in November.Thank you!
