BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Joshua can soon roll with the wind in his own Team Hoyt Custom Chair! With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon! As the father of two very special girls that race together with me, I know that the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", the fearlessness of the athletes, the normalcy of the family, and the love we all have for each other is a therapy like no other. Here is a note from Joshua:
My name is Joshua I am 19 yrs old I am going for my regular education diploma. I love sports college football and the best is Nascar. I love sports with speed!
My mom is a runner/jogger and this year I drove my first 5k for her work. I loved it! My step-brothers/step-sister who live in Virginia and Florida are marathon runners and they love it!
Through life I have always talked about what it would be like to walk or run.. Driving a power chair comes close but being able to feel the air in my face while being pushed on a run/walk/jog would be awesome! If I had a Team Hoyt Running Chair the things i could do.. When you run you or walk or jog, it give me participation and inclusion! This is the one thing that I want more than anything. Trust me I already know all the things I "can't" do heard that all my life. I know that it will be a training process for me and my mom or whom ever wants to run or really push me.
Our saying is we know it looks different but if it works it works! This works!
