Joshua's CCDA Leadership Cohort
Organized by: Joshua Beckett
Hello friends! For the past six years, I've had the joy of being connected to the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA), a network of churches and non-profits that are committed to restoring under-resourced communities. Through conferences and conversations, its principles of relocation, reconciliation, and redistribution have profoundly influenced my ministry practice.
Recently, I was accepted into CCDA's Leadership Cohort. It is a two-year journey with 20 other young leaders, developing deep friendships and being mentored in the ways of reconciliation and justice by more experienced ministry practitioners. These are some of the same themes that I am exploring in my doctoral research, so I am humbled and excited to step into the cohort!
However, in the aftermath of my comprehensive exams and in between jobs, the costs of the cohort are beyond my capacity. (To be candid, I’m still trying to find ways to pay for things like travel to academic conferences and car repairs). So I've set up this Crowdrise campaign for any of you who are interested in supporting me on this journey (and helping with these expenses).
You can check out http://www.ccda.org/get-involved/leadership-cohort for further information about CCDA and the Cohort.
Thank you for considering!
