My name is Josie. I was rescued by SCAR in 2012 when I was about three years old. I was adopted one week before Hurricane Sandy. Phew! My mom first spotted me at a street fair on Church Avenue. We spent the afternoon together and she took me home that evening. After some training I now greet other dogs calmly (almost always) and I walk like a lady on my leash. I do, however, have a very intense hunting drive, being from Kentucky and all. I can't get enough of the Brooklyn squirrels. They are everywhere and lately have been dropping acorns on my head from the trees! My mom makes me chicken and peas to have with my kibble and we take really long walks together every day. I love my new home and will always be grateful to Sean Casey Animal Rescue for saving me.
