In Loving Memory of Elaine F. Kelliher
On April 18, 2012 the world lost a wonderful woman who was beautiful inside and out. My Aunt Elaine was full of life and never without a smile. She touched so many lives in her 64 years, she could not have known the powerful impact she made on the people she met.
Elaine battled diabetes for many years, she would be here today if not for that horrible disease. She would be celebrating the Abington Green Wave’s Super Bowl title alongside her family; playing with her grandchildren; and enjoying outings with her sisters and with her many friends. She is dearly missed all who knew and loved her.
Elaine’s tenacious fight for her life was admirable. I pray for a cure to diabetes so that others do not have to endure what my Aunt Elaine went through. Please help me honor her memory by donating to Joslin Diabetes. You can submit your tax-deductible contribution by using the link below or by sending a check payable to “Joslin Diabetes Center” to me at: Heather Hamlet, 13 Madrid Square Apt 10, Brockton, MA 02301
I am registered to run the 2013 Boston marathon but have recently sustained an injury that is preventing me from competing. I feel terrible that I am unable to run in my aunt's memory, it meant so much to me. Despite my injury, I am still a part of Team Joslin 2013 and I am raising money in my aunt's memory that will go to Joslin Diabetes Center.
