BENEFITING: Joslin Diabetes Center
ORGANIZER: Joslin Diabetes Center
Four months ago I ran the Boston Marathon for Team Joslin. It was my first marathon and due to the incredible generosity of family and friends was able to almost triple my fundraising goal.
Running the Boston Marathon has been a goal of mine since I was a kid. Now, I don't know if I could go a year without participating. It was an incredible and humbling journey, but what made it truly worthwhile was the cause. Seeing my brother at the finish line, the reason for it all, made it unforgettable.
New York isn't Boston, but the journey is for the same cause. Ed fights everyday and I want to help him fight until he wins, so going for marathon number two in November with Team Joslin. My goal is to raise $5,000 for the Joslin Diabetes Center and hopefully get across the finish line a little faster.
Please don't feel any pressure to break the bank, but if you can please consider donating a few bucks to a great cause!
All my best,
