EVENT DATE Mar 10, 2017
Hello friends + family,
I've decided 2017 is going to be a year of giving back! I'm turning 30 in April and wanted to do something meaningful and adventurous to set the tone for the next decade. A group of friends and I will be joining forces with wejourney and TECHO to build homes in Costa Rica for underprivelaged families. It takes a village and we are so appreciative of any help we can get funding the cause. Every little bit helps. Also - any and everyone is welcome to come along with us! Let me know if you'd like to join our team. A more detailed description of the organization and trip below!
Thank you so much for your support and Happy New Year!

We're going to Costa Rica to build homes for families currently living in the slums.
TECHO, our on the ground, non profit partner, is actively working in 22 countries to permanently eradicate poverty in our lifetime. TECHO works in 650 slums, has mobilized over 800,000 volunteers and built over 105,000 transitional homes across Latin America.
We'll spend two days building a transitional home, working alongside the family and local volunteers. Then, at the end of a hard and rewarding two-day build, we'll hand the keys to the family and watch as they open their front door for the first time.
Next, we'll explore the spectacular coast for 3 days to process the experience we just shared and make decisions on what we want to bring back into our lives.
It takes a village to make social change. I would greatly appreciate your support in our mission.
