John Paul II Catholic High School via Crowdrise
July 13, 2014

We have established our important crowd-sharing fundraiser. We are in the testing phase and plan to launch it in July 21st.  See more

THE STORY:

To protect our players, we are upgrading our helmets to the latest technology that provides the utmost in safety.  The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase these helmets.  I think you will agree there is no investment more worthy than this.

The team is excelling in its mission to be impressive ambassadors for the school and Catholic community. The team was awarded, for the second year in a row, the Big Bend Football Officials Sportsmanship Award.  Out of over 25 teams, JPII was selected as the team that displayed the most outstanding behavior on the field.  This is the one and only award given by the Officials organization. The team was also named most sportsmanlike team in the North Florida Football Conference.  Last year the team was very ambitious as it played in 8 road games, including 4 homecomings, while completing the most challenging schedule in the NFFC.  We prayed at mid-field after each game, inviting our opponents to pray with us.

Our excellent football coaches teach and model outstanding character to our young men.  Descipline, hard work, overcoming adversity, sportsmanship and teamwork are just some of the life-long lessons that are learned in our "football classroom".  We truely use the game of football to build these players into men of honor who will excel in college and life.  Football is widely recognized as the greatest of all team sports for developing these important character traits.

$100 or more will receive a retired Panther game jersey.
$50 or more will receive a season pass to all home games.

We appreciate your investment in this team and consider you a "stockholder" in our program.   Please visit our excellent website for details about the Panthers: www.jpiifootball.org.  We look forward to you coming out to see your team play, and promise to continue to be honorable and impressive ambassadores for the school and Catholic community.
