Julia Friedman is the Founder & CEO of ExchangeWorks. Bringing artists and the public together has been an ongoing interest for Julia.
Julia’s experience in the art field spans from commercial to non-profit entities. She was the Director of the Julia Friedman Gallery, with locations in Chicago and later New York. She also ran an arts management service, where she produced and managed projects at international venues, such as; Yokohama Triennale, Yokohama; Berkeley Art Museum, Berkeley; and Exit Art, New York. She was an art consultant for WITNESS (the human rights organization founded by Peter Gabriel), guest critic at International Studio & Curatorial Program, New York and guest speaker at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago. A member of ArtTable, Julia graduated from Washington University, St. Louis.
