BENEFITING: Imerman Angels
It's that time of year again when Anne Marie and I lace up our shoes and run 26.2 miles through the streets of Chicago in honor of my sister-in-law and Anne Marie's aunt, Angie Henderson. We lost Angie four years ago, at the age of 34, to a well fought battle against cervical cancer. We miss her each day - her smile, her laughter, her spirit and love of life. Throughout the battle, she was very involved with Imerman Angels, an charity providing one on one cancer support for fighters, survivors and caregivers. The organization pairs angel mentors with those battling any type of cancer. Angie received support from the organization and was also a mentor to others battling the disease. Additional information about the charity is available at imermanangels.com .
Please consider making a donation to this amazing charity so dear to our hearts which meant so much to Angie during her fight.
Thanks in advance for your support!
