The PAWSome Winter Challenge has tripled in size for 2014! We not only have the PAWSome Cardboard Challenge, but we have added so much more to create a full day of winter fun! Don't worry, you do not need to be there for everything. See what winter fun you like on the outline below, grab some friends and join us for whatever sparks your interest! Remember, it's about the animals and their welfare, and having some fun. We hope that you start your crusade to bring animals indoors by joining us in the 2nd Annual PAWSome Cardboard Challenge beginning at 5pm on January 25, 2014.
NEW THIS YEAR for the PAWSome Cardboard Challenge: There will be judging and prizes for the PAWSome Cardboard Challenge! You will have to stay within your “territory” that has been marked by the judges for ONE hour of the challenge; 5-6pm. This hour will bring awareness to the challenges that dogs face when they are left outside in extreme temperatures and how difficult it truly is to fight through it.
Stayed tuned for the release of our well-known community personalities who will be acting as judges! There will be prizes, thanks to PetSaver Superstore for our top PAWSome Cardboard Challengers.
After the first hour, you are welcome stay for some animal themed friendly competitions; team tug-of-war, frisbee games, scavenger hunts, DJ trivia & dancing and more.

The goal of this community event is to come together, in the dead of a Western New York winter, along the icy shores of Lake Ontario and thus, raise awareness for animals left out in extreme weather conditions, day after day, fighting for their lives. We are making noise for these animals who can’t help themselves. Together, let’s impact change and set these animals and their owners on the path to providing adequate shelter, food, vet care and love.
