In memory of my Yellow Lab, Chai Tea Latte ("Chai" for short) who passed away in March this year. Chai was an amazing mountain dog who climbed more than 32 Colorado 14ers and loved to swim in streams and lakes. She was an awesome, loyal and faithful companion and I miss her.
It’s time to lace up those sneakers, leash up the pets, gather the kids & head to Divide for a fun-filled day! Whether you sign up for the 5K trail race or collect pledges to walk the 2K dog walk, plan to stay for the day to enjoy family-friendly activities - the 17th Annual Great Divide Kite Flight (free for kids), 5th Annual Divide Wide Yard Sale, delicious food, prizes and more! As the fundraising coordinator at Teller County Regional Animal Shelter, I am thrilled about our upcoming event, which is more than just another fundraiser - it's an opportunity to be part of history and take part in the first-ever organized foot race in the history of Divide, spend time with family and friends in the great outdoors, and visit the shelter's furry guests who are looking for their next loving home. But, if attending the event is truly not an option, please donate through my fundraising page on CrowdRise - Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated! Teller County Regional Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit, animal welfare organization. Each year nearly 800 dogs and cats in need (lost, abandoned, homeless, abused, or neglected) find loving hands, warm beds, and nourishing meals at TCRAS until they are reunited with their owners or adopted into new homes and families.
