Folasade, 5 rhabdomyosarcoma I wish to go to Disney World to meet Mickey Mouse Daniel and Hope welcomed their daughter, Folasade on December 6, 2010. They were thrilled to bring her home to Granite Bay to join her older brother, Adejare. On the day after Thanksgiving in 2014, Daniel and Hope noticed that Folasade was suffering from unusual bleeding. They immediately brought her to urgent care, where she was referred to a specialist. Folasade’s condition was initially treated with hormone therapy, but when no significant improvements were made, doctors decided to conduct a surgery. During the procedure, the surgeon realized that Folasade’s initial diagnosis had been incorrect, and she was evaluated for the possibility that she might have cancer. Folasade began chemotherapy treatment only days later. Folasade enjoys going to preschool, playing with her babysitter, swimming and spending time with her neighbor’s cat, Sneakers. Folasade is a fan of soccer, the colors pink and purple, and the Oakland A’s. She loves to eat macaroni and cheese and strawberry cake. During the days when Folasade felt ill and tired, she took comfort in watching the Disney Channel. Her favorite character is Mickey Mouse, and she dreams of someday having the opportunity to meet him in person! If her wish to visit Disney World is granted, Folasade hopes to have the chance to spend time with her family, and they are anxious for the opportunity to watch Folasade’s imagination come to life in such a magical place!
