Just for Eddey
Organized by: ChelseaandAaron Broderson
It's time! Eddey is going to start training in a wheelchair. We are a little uneasy about the idea. He's 3. But he's not little. He is so smart, he needs to start doing more for himself. And he will with the right tools. We truly hope that with his fine motor skills functioning more and more that with this new "tool", he will be more stimulated and will build confidence to get up and move. He's got to go through more evaluations to make sure that this is the right fit for him, (just because we might feel that it's the right route for our family does not mean that it is for him). I have every hope still that someday my baby will walk, whether it is on his own or with crutches. For now, I need to start rearranging our transportation "issues". I can not keep lifting the way I do. Eddey feels powerless as well. I wouldn't want to just lay around all the time either! Chelsea needs a mini-van to transport Eddey!
