BENEFITING: NYAKA AIDS ORPHANS PROJECT INC
EVENT DATE: Jun 16, 2013
You can give water to an elderly grandma in Uganda today!
Please go get a drink of clean water from your tap and read on.
The Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project supports nearly 6,300 elderly grannies collectively raising over 34,500 orphans and vulnerable children in rural mountainous Uganda. NAOP helps them through access to micro-finance, vegetable seeds, small business training, medical care, and grief counseling.
I'm hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro from June 16 - 24 in order to give 125 grannies a life-changing water harvesting tank that will allow them and their grandchildren access to clean water collected from the rainy season. For $40 you will change their lives forever! Dirty water leads to disease and suffering.
Please donate $40 or more today and grant the gift of water to an elderly granny. She hikes up and down mountains every day to access dirty water. I'm hiking 19,344 feet in their honor to show my love and humbling for what they face every day.
Now please go refill your cup of clean water (we don't want you dehydrated for this very important moment) and then come back and donate today.
Thank you for your love, care, and support of these mukaakas (grannies) and me!
