Kaleb is a motivated, intelligent young man. He is interested in Biomedical Engineering and desires to take a two week course at Brown University, this summer, to get a head start on his future. He has been very successful through out his schooling. He has excelled in all of his classes while maintaining a GPA of over 100. He takes all advanced placement classes. Kaleb excels in the science and math fields and learns very quickly. He has continuously participated in science and spanish clubs and science fairs at his high school. He will be graduating 10th grade this year but is advancing to complete his high school diploma by the end of next year, graduating with an Advanced Placement Regents Diploma. Kaleb consistently tests well beyond the level of his peers. He has received numerous awards for academics and his role in the community. Upon his 8th grade graduation he received every award possible and more than any other student had ever received in one year. When Kaleb is not engaged in school activities he works at a local restaurant or spends time with his friends. He is a well rounded young man with the motivation and work ethic rarely seen in our youth today. We are looking to raise enough funds to cover his two weeks at Brown University. The fees are as follows: Tuition: $3787 Deposit: $300 Application: $75 plus: textbooks, lab fees and a cafeteria ticket which will all vary in costs. Any and all funds received will be used for the sole purpose of Kaleb's education. All funds received beyond what is needed for this summer experience will be put directly into his NY529 account and will be used exclusively for Kaleb's education. This is an opportunity to help a young man reach his goals and be a successful, productive member of our society. Kaleb is very deserving of this experience and is most grateful for anything that you can do to assist him on his journey. His ultimate goal is to attend MIT in the fall of 2016. Thank you for your consideration.
