BENEFITING: FIRST SO BAPTIST CHURCH
EVENT DATE: Mar 06, 2015
The goal of this project is to fund the replacement of the sod church building, that is falling down, with a clay block, brick, or cinder block structure with a concrete floor and metal roof for about one hundred people in Kanana, Kenya. It will cost $7,000.
This church was established here over two years ago and has a pastor who ministers to about forty members. The church also hosts a school for boys and girls. They have gathered money through donations and have purchased the land. The church serves a growing community where they are in the process of building a sugar cane processing factory. The church will be built by a contractor and the contractor will only be paid on completion of the work.
