KangaRoom Kids is Ready to Play
Organized by: Acacia Gregg
Eww! You want me to play on that?!
As stay at home moms of young children we are always looking for ways and places to let our children move around and have fun! Unfortunately, playgrounds at parks never seem to be age appropriate. We hover over our children for fear the older children will plow them over. The indoor play areas where we live cater to the older children as well, leaving out moms with their little ones. Taking our children to play at fast food play lands put us on high alert because they are rarely cleaned! It's scary for us moms and our children when they are trapped or stuck in the play tubes. We get lost just trying to save them! This is why we created KangaRoom Kids in our area for children 48" and under. It will be a indoor SOFT MOVING playground. You'll be able to smell the clean when you walk in and immediately known your little one won't get plowed over by the big kids. The playground invites the children to play, which makes it developmentally appropriate.
We want families to have a safe, comfortable, CLEAN, flexible and developmentally appropriate place to bring their young children.
You all would be helping and supporting us achieve this exciting environment for the families in our community.
Who says moms can't work?
All of your contributions will be going into helping us start up our business. Our business won't make it without financing and we need your help! As we've been working out at everything we'll need as well as the the budget, we have calculated that we need to come up with $250,000-300,000. If we can't raise that much money then our next option is to get a loan, however we are nervous trying to pursue that course of action due to the fear of losing our homes. We would need to come up with $50,00-60,00, which would be the down payment of the loan, along with fees applying to the loan. Of course we aren't expecting that amount from you, however every little bit helps us immensely. We hope to open by the beginning of October this year.
Here is a list of everything we need:
-First few months lease
-Cash flow to pay employees
-pens and pencils
-copy machine and printer
A Happy Child is a Happy...well, Everyone!
Our children are the next generation and we will be leaving everything to them. A great way to prepare this next generation is to provide the perfect foundation for their growth and development. Creativity, exploration, discovery, socialization, development and learning comes from Play. Play is work and work is play for this age and to provide a place where they can do just that improves the well being of our community!
KangaRoom Kids has the perfect location in Beavercreek, however it won’t matter much if we don’t have the funds to secure the space.

Just because can't contribute, doesn't mean you don’t want to help!
Imagine you telling 5 people, and they in turn tell 5 people, who then tell 5 people…wow! It could go on and on; and to think you could be the start of all that!
