This year, the Kansas Food Bank's annual food drive through the U.S. Postal Service is at a 15-year low. It collected approximately 74,000 fewer pounds of food than just six years ago. When you donate to the Kansas Food Bank, each $1 provides nearly $10 worth of food. That's enough to supply about four meals to safeguard the health and well-being of food-insecure families, children, senior citizens, the homeless, chronically ill and impoverished. Any donation can make a big difference! This non-profit organization distributes donated food, and goods that are purchased at bulk rates. The Kansas Food Bank partners with hunger-relief agencies across the state to serve more than 200,000 people in 85 counties.
