BENEFITING: COBURN PLACE SAFEHAVEN II INC
EVENT DATE: Sep 05, 2014
Each fall, the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Butler University put on our philanthropy event, Kappa Kickoff. On Friday afternoon, September 5, we will once again hold our annual cookout and kickball tournament between the Greek Houses and residential halls on campus. It is an afternoon of food and games and will be a fun event benefitting an even better cause!
The wonderful thing about the event is that all proceeds go directly to our philantropy, The Coburn Place in Indianapolis. The Coburn Place is a home in Indianapolis for battered women and children, providing housing, counseling, childcare, education, and more to survivors of such abuse. Kappa Kickoff is put on to raise money for Coburn Place and we have ambitions to exceed last years number of $16,000.
This is where we need your help! Kappa is in need of sponsors for Kappa Kickoff. Any donation, whether monetary or material, by your family, business, or organization would be greatly appreciated. The names of the sponsors who donate $50 will be on our banner that will hang outside of the Kappa house on Butler’s campus for an entire week. If your business or organization would rather donate items such as food for the cookout, music, t-shirts, or whatever is convenient, it would be greatly appreciated. No gift, whatever it may be, is too big or too small. In addition, this is a great way to promote your business while supporting a great cause.
We would like to thank you for your consideration and hope that you plan to support us in our efforts reach our goal of surpassing $14,000 for The Coburn Place.
