BENEFITING: COBURN PLACE SAFEHAVEN II INC
EVENT DATE: Oct 04, 2013
The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Butler University will hold their annual philanthropy, Kappa Klassic, on October 4th, 2013. This event, which includes an annual all-campus cookout and Kickball tournament between Greek Houses, residential halls, and commuters, will benefit Coburn Place, a home for women and children who have escaped domestic abuse in Central Indiana. Coburn Place provides counseling, childcare, education, and more to families working to rebuild their lives
Kappa Klassic helps the philanthropies of other fraternities and sororities on campus, too. Instead of giving individual prizes, we give money to the philanthropy of the 1st place team in the Frisbee tournament. In this way, we can help benefit other wonderful organizations in our community.
Butler’s Kappa Kappa Gamma hopes to exceed last year’s success of $5,000 raised. This is where we need your help. Kappa is in need of sponsors for Kappa Klassic, benefiting Coburn Place. Any donation, whether monetary or material, by your family, business, or organization would be greatly appreciated. Four levels of sponsorship – ranging from $50 to $500 – are available. If your business or organization would rather donate items such as food for the cookout, goods for Coburn Place, music, or whatever is more convenient, that would also be wonderful and greatly appreciated. No gift is too big or small. Kappa Klassic is a great way to promote your business while supporting a great cause.
Please include a note clearly printing the name of the company or organization and any necessary contact information and phone number. Donations of $100 or more should send a logo or pdf copy of your business card to firstname.lastname@example.org. In order to meet printing deadlines, we need to secure all commitments by September 15, 2013.
Thank you for your consideration of support for Kappa Klassic, benefiting Coburn Place. The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Butler University are honored to support such a worthwhile and important organization.
