THE STORY:
Ten years ago we began fighting for our son's brain at Karmanos Cancer Institute. Detroit welcomed us in our three year battle. Even though we lost the war, the nurses, doctors and support staff on fifth floor Karmanos helped maintain the intensity of the fight, forming a team of experts that stayed by our side battle the beast of brain cancer. I would like to honor Brian's memory and the team on Fifth Floor with this gift.
