As most of you know, I began a journey in June of 2015 to achieve a goal of running a ½ Marathon in August. At the time, I literally could not run more than a mile without walking. I found much of my motivation by running outside and losing myself in the beauty surrounding us. Since then, I have ran two ½ Marathons, one in Estes Park and one in Lake Powell. I have an even bigger goal for 2016, continuing this journey through the National Parks. I have been so lucky to have been selected as one of 10 people to wear a charity bib for the Zion ½ Marathon in March. For this, I have committed to raising $1000 for the National Parks. Every dollar I raise goes directly to our amazing outdoors and beautiful scenery, the very scenery that has kept me running and racing.
If willing and able, I would be honored if you sponsor me by donating towards my charity bib. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the National Parks Foundation and benefits the parks! Every dollar makes a difference!
