BENEFITING: Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Jun 21, 2016
Six years ago our community lost a very special person to a form of heart failure known as cardiomyopathy. I am heading this fundraiser, and I also suffer from the condition as well. We are doing this event as a way to honor Kasi and her memory, and raise much needed funds for research and assistance for families that are dealing with this disease. We lost Kasi suddenly, and she left behind a husband and three children. Currently our country is in need of private funds as we are falling behind others in research and testing to combat this disease. CCF is an organization with a distinct purpose and vision to do just that. Travis her husband chose this foundation as the beneficiary of the event because of the work they are doing not only with research and education, but also personal assistance to families that are dealing with cardiomyopathy. I am setting this site up as a way for those who cannot participate but would like to donate in Kasi's honor to combat this condition that currently there is no cure for.
