Camp No Limits’ mission is to educate and empower young people with limb loss to discover and develop a healthy, happy, and independent lifestyle. The camp offers state of the art prosthetic education, parent and child peer support, and adapted recreational activities. Camp provides children of all ages with a judgment-free environment to try new things, to optimize their functional independence, and to share how their limb loss or difference has affected their daily lives.
As a Quinnipiac student in the physical therapy program, it was a truly rewarding experience to combine two passions; physical therapy and volunteer work. The camp offers young people with limb loss and their families an outlet to improve, enrich, and maximize their lives. Every $500 raised helps cover the cost of camp for a child.
