The Kelly Klan is honored to participate for the 2nd year in Rose Haven’s Reigning Roses Walk on Mother’s Day, May 10, honoring special women in our lives. Thanks to many, our team came in first and raised the most dollars! Help us do better this year and join our team for this fun 5k walk through NW Portland…. OR send a contribution in honor of the special women in my life and for all the special women of Rose Haven
Rose Haven has introduced me to many fine women over the years who need stability in their lives as they have suffered traumas of abuse, loss of home or other disruptive losses. Over 2700 women/children each year are served AND as little as $200 provides annual services for 1 woman/year. $200 offers day shelter, nutritious food, clothing, supplies, advocacy and place for safety, friendship and community.
I will be walking again in honor of 3 women in my life representing 3 generations. My mother, Janet Banks, my sister Sarah Talmadge and my daughter, Kate Kelly…..3 uniquely lovely women of exceptional character who inspire me daily as a daughter, sister and mother. I’m forever grateful for their guiding light.
Please help me in supporting these women. . What a wonderful day of opportunity to celebrate mothers and the many women in our lives.

Join us this Mother’s Day to walk with, or in honor of, a special woman in your life. Reigning Roses features everything needed to make this a special morning: mimosas, pastries, entertainment, prizes and a wonderful 5k walk. Together with Rose Haven guests, participants will stroll a 5k course through the streets of NW Portland, enjoying goodies along the way. Participants are asked join or create a “team” made up of friends, family and co-workers. All genders and ages welcome!
There is no minimum fee to participate, however, we ask that attendees to make a personal donation and/or ask others to support their participation. This website makes it easy to ask your friends to join your team, or make a gift to support your involvement. Our goal is to have each participant give or raise a minimum of $100 to help the women and children served by Rose Haven.
