Hello to my supporters. I just want to let you know that I am fine. I was 0.6 km from the finish line when the runners were stopped. Jeff was trying to get to the finish line to watch me and he is fine too.
Pray for everyone involved in this tragic event.

Thank you very much for your donation in support of the "Nic for Nick" charity journey to the Boston Marathon.

Eighteen weeks of training for the big day on April 15 are almost coming to a close. I have been so motivated and committed to this cause for Nicholas and all the children and families who face cancer.

Can't wait to meet you.

CROWDRISING SINCE: Dec 26, 2012
Stuff About Me:

In 2010 I was at a point in my life where I was struggling for some sort of an accomplishment. I got wait-listed for a PA program, so felt as though I was idling in life and needed to strive toward something. I wanted to be a part of something that was much greater than me. I wanted to make a difference to this World and change a life.

I was honored to run in the 2010 Boston Marathon as a member of Mass General Marathon Team fighting Kids' Cancer....One Step at a Time, and lucky enough to run with Super "Nick Power" DeFelice as my patient partner. Nick was the one that made a difference and changed my life. His sense of humor, love for life, strength and courage has touched me and the lives of so many people. Unfortunately, Nick lost his battle on June 26, 2012- fighting neuroblastoma for six years! I strongly believe with generous donations, we will not lose the War on Cancer!!!  Nick has inspired me to run another Marathon. I will be running in Nick's memory and in honor of his courageous battle.

On April 15, 2013- I will run in the Boston Marathon as a member of Mass General Marathon Team, Fighting Kids' Cancer. Our team consists of 100 runners, who are committed to raising a minimum of $5,000+ each and many of whom run in honor of a child being treated for cancer at MGH for Children in Boston. All of the money raised by the runners goes directly to the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Division at MGHfC and helps support clinical and lab research in childhood cancer and other programs including parent, teen and sibling support groups, and art and music therapy for our patients during their clinic visits.
