Help me raise $2000 to benefit Global Explorers and the No Barriers Foundation! On May 20, 2011, I'll be climbing Mt. Elbert, the tallest peak in Colorado, at 14,433 feet alongside some truly inspirational adventurers, including Erik Weihenmayer, the only blind person to summit each of the seven continents highest peaks, as well as wounded veterans from the Soldiers to the Summit Road Warriors Film Tour, a No Barriers project. These wounded veterens found hope and inspiration after climbing two of the worlds tallest peaks last summer.
The tour will include screenings of the film alongside some of the veterans from the project. They will share stories of recovery through adventure with other returned veterans and civilians alike to raise awareness and encourage returned veterans everywhere to live a full and active life, inspite of the physical, emotional and mental impacts of their service to our country. Please participate with me in supporting those who've served our country by making a donation.
