BENEFITING: PROJECT HAVE HOPE INC
I just got matched with my very first Catchafire project and would love your support as I volunteer for the next couple months. I'm creating a social media strategy for Project Have Hope (PHH), an amazing nonprofit that empowers Ugandan women and children.
Technology is truly amazing. I'm going to help PHH use Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter to promote their efforts, which will ultimately lead to women and children halfway across the globe learning how to read, cook with solar ovens, and build viable businesses from scratch.
Project Have Hope provides education to both women though adult literacy classes and specific vocational skills, and to children through day and boarding schools. They also provide valuable loans that help these women build their own businesses and shape a new future for themselves and their families. The women they support make beautiful paper bead jewelry that benefits these wonderful programs and makes this nonprofit largely self-sustainable. An example of microfinance working as it should!
Was recently humbled by the following truth: "Someone is praying for the things you take for granted."
Any amount counts!
Appreciate the support, Scott
