THE STORY:

Hello, My name is Walter Clark, I am retired, disabled military. My Mother recently had a stroke and is in a nursing home/rehabilitation center. Two days ago I overheard a conversation between the Nurses aides that care for my Mother. Needless to say, what I heard broke my heart.    I will not use their full names, just first names, as I do not want them to get into any trouble with their work.    So here is the story: Tasha is the only person currently working in her household. Her Fiancee recently had surgery and will not be able to go back to work for 3 months. She is the only one with an income. (Minimum wage) and she has two small children, with another on the way.. She does her best to try to make ends meet, but her paycheck only goes so far. After paying bills, getting a few groceries and putting gas in the car, she is without money to pay her rent. She is 2 months behind and is about to be evicted. Her car needs Brakes and tires. The tires are bald. I have a mechanic friend that will do the work and not charge for the labor, I just have to pay for the parts. I would like to help her get that done, get her rent caught up, pay her electric bill ($428.00) and a few dollars for groceries.     Kayla and her husband both work, but both minimum wage jobs. They have one car. My Mechanic friend has a car that he will sell to her for $1000.00. It needs Tires, tuneup , and oil change. He will do the work for free, but again parts have to be paid for. Kayla told me she did not know if she had enough food until the end of the month to feed her two children, and that she had not eaten for 3 days so that her kids could eat. I immedieately took her to the grocery store and bought her food and necessities. I would like to be able to help her so she can be more independent in her working hours which will enable her to earn more money to take care of her family.    All Money raised will go directly to assisting the two wonderful young ladies. As bad as their situations are, they always have a smile for their patients. I would like to try and raise the money as soon as possible to prevent them from from getting into further financial issues.     This means so much to me to be able to help them, because I grew up poor. My dad was deceased and my mother worked 3 jobs just to feed and clothe our family. If it was not for family, friends and strangers, we would have been homeless.     I am eternally grateful for everyone who can donate something, anything to help them. I will say a personal prayer for everyone who donates and shares this message to get the word out to be able to help these two young Ladies. I try to help whoever I can whenever I can, since I have been in that situation. With your help this can happen. I ask nothing for myself, just your love and kindness to help these wonderful moms in their time of need. I am sure we have all hit that rough patch in life where we needed help. I am asking for your help in getting these two women back on the right track. Help pay it forward. Thank you. Sincerely, Walter Clark
