Cornbelt AMBUCS is hosting Trek 4 Trykes, a fundraiser to provide Amtryke therapeutic tricycles to people with disabilities right here Bloomington Normal, IL. Click the gray Join the Event button to become a "Trekker" and make a difference today!
What is a Trekker, you say? It is someone who joins us in our one-mile fun walk, which will be held at White Oak Park at 1514 North Cottage Ave in Bloomington, IL on June 6, 2015. Registration at 8:30am, walk begins at 9am. Prizes will be awarded for the top three fundraisers!
Trek 4 Trykes registration is only $20 but we encourage every Trekker to raise additional funds via pledges from their friends, family and community connections - so we can get more riders rolling.
Every Trekker will receive an awesome event t-shirt. Day-of-event registration is available, but Trekkers who register after May 1 cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt on the day of the walk.
The Cornbelt Chapter of AMBUCS, a nationwide 501c3 charity dedicated to Creating Mobility & Independence for People with Disabilities, will host the event. All pledges are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Right now children with disabilities from the area are waiting for the fun and freedom of their very own Amtryke. Parents, recipients and therapists have noted that the Amtryke not only provides improved strength, tone and coordination but also confidence and positive peer interaction. You can make a difference. Come and walk with us!
