Keep Champ in the Family!
Organized by: Ashley Wells
I got Champ when he was just 7 weeks old. He was the cutest little floppy eared troublemaker I had ever fell in love with! He picked me out to be his new family and I have been ever so grateful. Well 6 years and 6 months later we have had our ups and downs but now he is sick. Really sick. He has an obstruction in his stomach and needs to have surgery. I have worked so hard to provide a good life for him and now this is stopping me from being able to care for him properly. I was told that I can apply for Carecredit and tried that but do not qualify. They also told me that I can apply for assistance from different pet rescue charites, however those are really hard to qualify for and they are not guaranteed. The last option they gave me was to surrender him to the animal shelter and they will take it from there. I really do not want to "give up" a member of my family, more like my child. Finally my last and least favorable option is to put him down. This is not the option I want things to come down to. Champ is a huge part of my life. He is a registered emotional support dog for me and has been there in some of my biggest times of need. Now it is my turn to return the favor. Any help that can be given is much appreciated.
