Keep Me Going While I Fix My Face

This is Zach before all the surgeries began.
May 26, 2016
For more than 18 years, Zach has endured more than 13 surgeries to reconstruct his jaw, palate and face. He was born with a unilateral, complete cleft lip and palate. This birth defect affects his speech, breathing and eating. Zach is a senior in high school and after his graduation in June he'll undergo upper jaw advancement surgery. This means his upper jaw will be broken and he'll wear a "halo" screwed into his skull that helps to keep his broken jaw in place as it heals, then a few weeks later he'll go back into surgery to have permanent plates put into his upper jaw. A few weeks after that he'll have another bone graft from his hip bone to jaw. Zach has much more to come before his process is complete, including some false teeth. Zach plans to attend art school this fall, but here's the catch...He and his mom will be missing lots of work throughout his next set or surgeries. Zach is a hard working young man with a caring and fun-loving spirit. He's an awesome brother, uncle, son and friend. And he needs our help to go forward after graduation and his next series of surgeries. We would like to raise about $3,000 to help cover his loss of work and miscellaneous expenses during his recovery - like all those protein shakes he'll shoot into his mouth through a syringe. Would you please consider helping us raise these funds to offset his upcoming expenses? Please also pray for Zach and all of his family as they go another round to help improve his speech, breathing, eating and appearance. We thank God for each of you!
