We are a grassroots organization (formerly Big Heart Little Feet) which has now joined Keep America Beautiful as a local town affiliate, now known as Keep Natick Beautiful. Over the past six years we've organized 350 - 400 clean-ups of local trails, waterways, woodlands, parks, and roadways. We now have an active team of seventy volunteers who have adopted spots (or neighborhoods) in Natick to keep our Town proud, respectful and litter-free. We hope to be the "First One of the Three Hundred Fifty-One" Massachusetts cities and towns to go "trash-free." And remarkably we're a lot closer to the goal than people realize, despite the fact that Natick (population 33,000) has a huge commercial footprint (one of the largest shopping malls in America), 4 major state roads including the Massachusetts Turnpike, and a commuter railway running through it.
