Community Resources has been a community staple for 10+ years providing therapeutic crisis intervention and stabilization services for families with youth diagnosed with behavioral and mental disorders. Acting as a buffer between families and law enforcement during a family crisis, the primary goal of Community Resources case managers is to decriminalize mental illness. Due to State budget cuts, funding was halted for the program and managed care companies have taken over the public social service system, causing legacy agencies to be subject to new licensure regulations. Having operated as a non-profit social service agency, Community Resources has no funds available for building upgrades need for licensure. This campaign is for building upgrades necessary to keep Community Resources Alive.
