Keep this father home
Organized by: Kristin Clancy
My sons father made a mistake when he was young, has paid for it, and has since made a huge effort to get his life together to become a better person for his two young sons. Now, years later, he has been picked up by immigration and is facing possible deportation, back to Haiti, where hew was born. He has a hearing next Wednesday and will need a lawyer. Lawyers that we have spoken with want a $5,000 deposit by Monday morning in order to take the case. He has a great case (he has been working, paying child support, been a huge presence in his children's lives, and has not been in any trouble since) but no judge is going to take him serious if he doesn't have a lawyer with him. I could write pages and pages about why this man deserves to stay, and why I need him to stay, but my biggest concern is his children. His kids love him so much, his oldest son talks about him all day long. Please help, these two boys need their father in their lives.
