EVENT DATE: MAY 24, 2014 - MAY 25, 2014
On Memorial Day weekend, hundreds of riders and volunteers will come together in Connecticut to participate in the 11th annual AngelRide. This two-day, 130-mile bike ride through Connecticut includes some beautiful scenery as well as some rather large hills. But more importantly, this extraordinary event raises funds to help put smiles on the faces of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. It is run entirely by volunteers and is supported by sponsors. Because of this, 100% of the funds raised by this event go directly towards programs at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp that benefit children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses -- 100%!
Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support me during AngelRide. This will be my 3rd year participating as a volunteer. I have participated as a rider 6 times. This event has become one of the most important in my life. After losing my daughter to cancer and experiencing the overwhelming support from our family, friends and community, I feel very passionate about this cause because it helps sick children feel normal during a time when life is anything but normal. And since 100% of your donation goes directly to the programs that support the kids, this is a truly worthwhile cause to support.
