Keith & Reda go to Tuscany
Organized by: Michael Schmidt
Mom & Dad have always been an example of exactly the kind of person I want to be. My friend Elizabeth said it really well, "Keith and Reda are two of the most selfless, compassionate, loving people I have ever been privileged to meet. The are forever family in my heart." My whole life my parents have been there for others. We even used to joke that Dad had two jobs, one was the job he went to every morning and the other started when he got off work and many times went straight to help someone with their a/c, car, etc often at his own cost and never accepting payment for his effort. Over the years they have loaned out literally thousands of dollars to various friends and acquaintances often never to see that money returned. They have over the years taken in many needy children, clothing and feeding them with no compensation. They are quite frankly the best people I will ever have the privilege of knowing and have been blessed beyond measure to have the honor of calling them my parents. I myself am a good example of their giving spirit. Dad didn't have to adopt me... I could have just been "the step-son". But since they married I have never had one moment that I didn't feel 100% like my father's son. They have decided to go to Tuscany, Italy for their 30th wedding anniversary. Now please understand that they do have the money to go and have no idea I have started this fundraiser. In point of fact I expect that I will get an earful when they find out. I just wanted to do something amazing for these people who have been so wonderful to so many. I thought some of you might want that opportunity too. Please give only of your surplus and from your heart. Thank you friends and family for your help in honoring my amazing parents for their anniversary.
