It's that time again!!!!! 14th annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon/Half Marathon – the RUN to REMEMBER! For the 5th year in a row I will be running the Half Marathon on April 27, 2014. As always, I continue to be “Tied to the Mission” by raising funds to support the privately owned and operated Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.
More than 25,000 participants run this event to remember the 168 people who were killed in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing in 1995. This race serves as a testimony that good can overcome evil.
For me, I run this event in honor of brothers Chase (3 years old) and Colton Smith (2 years old) - who lost their lives that tragic day. I never knew Chase and Colton or their family, but their story touched and inspired me and that is why I "Run to Remember"!
Again, I thank you so much for your continuous and generous support of me and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Marathon!
