THE STORY:
"It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes a champion."
I am a physical therapist currently working in the Baltimore area at Life Fitness Physical Therapy. While I was in graduate school, I was very naive to the military world until I did an internship for a couple months with the Army at Fort Drum. It was a real inspiration to see these men and women dedicating their lives to defend their country. I primarily saw those in training with injuries as a student physical therapist at the time, but since graduating have seen some active duty soldiers of all branches of the service with incredible stories. I hope to continue to support the Wounded Warrior Project and can't thank those men and women enough for dedicating their lives to save ours. To those that have touched my life, both instructors and patients, you know who you are as I don't want to post your names without your permission, but thank you for everything and always being an inspiration to me.
Starting to run more with the dog, getting up between 3-5 miles in one outing! I am able to travel the monkey bars forwards, backwards, and sideways a couple of laps without falling. And I did 3 muscle ups in a row on a bar at the playground. It's all coming along!
