I am Ken G. and I am the president of the Kyle Goldberg Memorial Foundation. This foundation was started after the tragic death of my son from an accidental drug overdose in 2004. Back then, the incidence of opiod overdoses was barely on the radar, but unfortunately it is now an everyday story in our community.
The foundation is currently working with Westchester Medical Center to establish a relationship to bring education and support to families and individuals struggling with drug addiction. We have sponsored accredited seminars with the medical center for those in the treatment profession and have a new one scheduled for October 27, 2016 at the Westchester Marriott (insert link for this here). The long term goal of the foundation is to establish a legacy in honor of my son, and fund ongoing research, community outreach, and education specifically aimed at the young adult population in Westchester County and the surrounding areas.
My daughter Amy, and my cousin James will both be running the NYC marathon in honor of Kyle and to raise awareness of this epidemic.

Thank you for your support as I go the distance for this great cause.
