As international volunteers from Marafiki Volunteers in Nairobi, Kenya (partnered with the UK's Agape Volunteers), we conduct informal medical outreach programs in low income/low access communities in and around the capital as well as in the Masai Mara. Having realized we can make real change in the access to health services and attitude around health in these places, we now want to make our outreach official. However, that goal doesn't come without its financial difficulties. Previously self-funded, our outreach has needed funds for transportation, medications, medical supplies, and hospital bills for specific cases (the stories for which are on our main site). We're here to ask for your help, and in return, give you a personal glimpse into and hand in our vision. We will tell you exactly where every dollar/pound/shilling ends up in the form of email and website updates, and we're always happy to have a chat about our program and activities. We don't have a goal amount as the more we raise, the more we can do. Any dollar amount will help us; you can cure a entire family's scabies for just $1. As always, feel free to contact us at any time with questions, suggestions, and comments.
