Kerry is a special man. One who always thinks of others before thinking of himself. He is the one that is your "Rock" of a friend, always willing to help you move, help you when your car is broken down, do the things that some friends shy away from.
He has always been there for his friends but most importantly , for his family. He is a loving father and husband. During the Spring of 2014, as this disease reared its ugly head, his daughter graduated from High School and turned 18 years old. These were both milestones in their lives. Kerry was determined to attend his daughters graduation even though he was jaundiced and wearing a visible ostomy bag. He made it through the ceremonies but was heartbroken that he couldn't give his daughter a graduation party or gifts as any father would. True to form, his daughter never complained, she was just happy that her father was able to share her special day. He hasn't always been dealt the best hand to play but has never complained.
He has bravely battled cancer this past year and has overcome hurdles and obstacles along the way. As the battle continues on, he is now facing financial hardships as well as medical complications from this horrible, debilitating disease.
If you have ever known someone special like Kerry who has suffered from cancer, but is determined not only to survive, but to thrive please find it in your heart to make a donation to him and his family's future. Anything you can do to ease the financial worries he now faces each day, in addition to medical worries, would provide a shining point of hope to him and more importantly, his wife and daughter.
If you choose to donate to this cause, please consider covering the admin fees of approximately 8% to be sure Kerry and his family receive as much help as possible..
